‘Casa Marròn’ EP the dancefloor devastating EP from long-standing dance music veteran Santos, coming at you with a killer round of music for his debut on CDR.

Santos AKA Sante Pucello has spent two decades honing his skills and notching up record-breaking achievements across the dance music spectrum from top 10 anthems to underground hits. A follow up to the summer anthem, ‘Hold Home’, which topped the Resident Advisor chart last month at the much coveted Number One position, his selection of tracks for CDR are made for kicking the hell out of the dancefloor, only the way a greatly gifted producer can.

Driving straight into the dark and mysterious ‘La Pineta’, this title track rings out with dark undertones and a crazy hook of a bassline. The complex patterns of ‘Desencadeada’ shakes with electrifying percussion explosions while the final track of the package ‘Mariachi Hotel’ is equally as mind-blowing. This EP grinds and rattles, inching forward and subtly building a uniquely jubilant yet eerie atmosphere.

Hailing from Frosinone (Italy), Santos grew up in a cosy family environment warmed up by the notes of the disco fever. In 1976 he discovered his first musical inspiration in ‘Giorgio Moroder’ and from then all his birthday presents had to be records.

Fascinated by the Chicago House Music, Santos began producing and in ‘95 released the smash record ‘The Piano’ on Mantra Vibes. He went on to gain a UK top 10 hit with ‘Camels’ and remixed everyone from Fatboy Slim to Armand Van Helden while continually picking up big support from leading jocks such as Pete Tong and Annie Nightingale. More recently Santos has fine-tuned his sound and turned his exceptional production skills to labels such as Connaisseur and Moon Harbour and taken over from Martin Buttrich as Timo Mass’ producer and engineer.
