Meera

Meera grew up with house music blaring from her dad’s basement. Being surrounded by music – it wasn’t long till she tried her hand at it at 13 and fell in love. Meera has always been an all-embracing soul, with some early influences being Burial, J Dilla, and Daft punk for their unorthodox approach to production. Her DJing and productions are clear reflections of her and her taste. Blending afro- and latin rhythms with janky house grooves, strange off-beat lead instruments, and rich enveloping pianos.

In 2023 she released her debut single “Music For Humans” which immediately found its way onto the setlists of DJs like Black Coffee, Damian Lazarus, &Me, and Jimi Jules, to name a few. And her followup is already making the rounds, setting 2023 up as an exciting start to a blossoming Meera.
