Crosstown Rebels deliver a unique underground music experience.
For over 20 years Crosstown Rebels has forged a path as one of the world’s leading electronic music labels.
Established in 2003, Damian Lazarus’ label manifesto has not changed. Discovering and nurturing new talent has always been the beating heart of the label, with a mission to soundtrack the future of the dancefloor and beyond.
Introducing the world to the likes of Jamie Jones, Seth Troxler, Maceo Plex and Art Department was just the beginning for Crosstown. Today the roster is gloriously international, showcasing the truly global scene that Crosstown has shaped over the years.
Parties have always been at the core of the label’s identity. The early Slash & Burn and Rebel Rave parties paved the way for Lazarus to create two of the world’s most cherished experiences, Get Lost and Day Zero, and in turn setting a benchmark for electronic music events worldwide.
Crosstown is also focused on setting the agenda for the future of sustainability, having launched Crosstown Consciousness, a project that focuses on making every aspect of Crosstown Rebels as green and sustainable as possible.
The label has also expanded its mandate to encompass two sister labels. Rebellion dives deep into the twilight-hour sound of the club, while the newly launched Secret Teachings explores music from the outer reaches, often far from the clamour of the dancefloor.
Eclecticism is still at the core of the label’s identity. In 2020 the legendary Krust found a home at the label with his first album in fourteen years, the universally acclaimed The Edge of Everything. In 2022 Crosstown released the eagerly awaited new album from breakthrough live artist Satori. This is a label that refuses to be pigeonholed.
The Crosstown Rebels family is a global community of like-minded artists, DJs and creatives.
All Rebels are welcome.
