LA-based producer and DJ specializing in melodic and progressive house and techno Enamour has become a definitive name of the dance floor, creating masterful soundscapes with no boundary of range: his productions infuse the expressive melodies of deep house, the hypnotic power of progressive house and alluring momentum of dark techno.
Enamour is Michael Gold, who was raised near Washington DC — home to institutions of electronic music like Flash and U Street Music Hall as well as legendary acts like Sharam and Dubfire — a city invariably considered a hidden heart of the genre in the United States. Long before he could enter a club, Gold found an early interest in music with the piano and later with guitar, then jazz, indie, electronic, and eventually dance — his passion for music unchanging, despite his evolving taste.
Now based in Los Angeles, Enamour has an undeniable global presence in the electronic space, with releases on some of the most exciting house and techno labels, including Last Night on Earth, Get Physical, Factory93, Rose Avenue, Anjunadeep and many more. He’s also made his mark as a coveted remixer, reworking the likes of Ry X, Above & Beyond, Hayden James and Cassian, to name a few.
Enamour’s music has never been pigeonholed in any one genre — with each new exploration as technical as the next — a reflection of his musical upbringing combined with the prowess of a seasoned producer. It’s rare to find an artist who gets consistent nods from such an eclectic array of genre-defining leaders like Sasha, Guy J, Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge, Rufus du Sol, and Lane 8, as well as underground heroes like Frankey & Sandrino, Einmusik, Sebastien Leger, and Eelke Kleijn. Moreover, renowned dance music institutions like Mixmag and DJ Mag were quick to back those stamps of approval.
Enamour has toured extensively throughout North America and has hit countries in every corner of the world, playing at Burning Man as well as esteemed venues like The Brooklyn Mirage, The Bow in Buenos Aires, Los Angeles’ Sound Nightclub, and Washington DC’s own Flash and Echostage.
Today, Enamour’s world is limitless. His ability to effortlessly maneuver across the vibrant spectrum of house and techno both in his original productions and dynamic sets has captivated dance floor movers and tastemakers alike.
Enamour continues his rise in 2023 with festival and headline club plays across the globe and an exciting schedule of original releases and high-profile remixes.
